Amanda -Wright Obituary

Amanda Reed (Nieves)-Wright

Millville - Amanda Reed (Nieves)-Wright, 28, of Millville, NJ passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 19, 2018. She was born in Bridgeton, NJ on April 21, 1990 to Carlos R. Nieves and Danielle Gonzalez, and was lovingly raised by her dear predeceased great-grandmother Shirley Porter and her father Carlos. Amanda graduated Millville Senior High School in 2008 and she subsequently served in the US Army as a satellite technician and was a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. She was a loving mother to Roran Wright age 4, and Hemingway Wright age 1. She loved her children and they loved her. Amanda took pride in serving her Country and she made her father extremely proud by surprising him and joining the Army while he was deployed in Iraq himself. Amanda loved to play softball as a child and was very competitive at it. Amanda always soared in her grades and that made her family very proud. She loved music and being surrounded by her family and friends. Amanda is survived by her father Carlos R. Nieves, her mother Danielle Gonzalez, her sisters Nadia Nieves and Marissa Nieves, her brother Carson Nieves, her grandmothers: Grisela Rivera and Cathy Porter Jensen, her great-aunts, Clara Lowers (Frank), Jackie Warfle (Stacey), several loving aunts, uncles and cousins, and by her husband Kenneth Wright and their adorable sweet children Rory and Hemi. Her spirit, joy, and talents will be celebrated on Friday, May 25, 2018 at the Cumberland County Community Church located at 1800 E. Broad St., Millville, NJ with a viewing from 11 am-12:45 pm and immediately following a Memorial Service at 12:45 pm. All family and friends are welcome as we come together to celebrate and remember Amanda in love and with complete peace.

Deeply saddened that this earthly battle wore her down. I pray that her children will one day be reunited with their dear mother in a better land where they will never part again. May God protect and guide these sweet innocents throughout their life.
