ARLENE SHERMA Obituary

Arlene Sherma, 71, of Minotola passed away Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton. Arlene was a retired schoolteacher for Maurice River Township School District. She had earned a master's degree, and authored a children's book on the Holocaust. She is survived by her son, David Sherma and his wife Lauren of Minotola; daughter, Sheryle Mulchay and her husband James of Pittsgrove; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild;one brother, James Dillon and his wife Louise; two sisters, Margaret Dillon, and Genevieve D'Augostine and her husband Tony; brother-in-law, James Frost; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Arlene was predeceased by a sister, Jacqueline Frost, in 2009. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday from Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave., Vineland. Visitation hours are one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Written condolences to the family may be e-mailed to wbfuneralhome@ comcast.net. Arrangements were entrusted to Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home in Vineland.
