Douglas W. Cramer, 62, of Ridley Park, Pa., died suddenly Sunday, April 1, 2012, at home.
Born in Darby, Pa., he was the son of the late Stuart N. and Annie Thelma Loving Cramer and the husband of Cheryl Charlesworth Cramer. Doug spent most of his life in Port Norris and resided in Ridley Park the past 10 ten years. He was a maintenance mechanic for Penn Glass Sand in Newport for 20 years. He also was a commercial crabber in the Delaware Bay. Doug enjoyed being on the water crabbing, fishing; he also could fix anything. He always had a smile on his face and was good-hearted. Doug loved his family, children, grandchildren, his friends, and his best friend Mark.
Surviving are his wife, Cherylann; daughters, Tammy Cramer and Kelly Serbeck, both of Millville; brothers, Ronald, Carey and Richard Tripler, all of Pennsylvania; and grandchildren, Richard Serbeck Jr., Douglas M. Cramer, Savanna Serbeck and Steven Cramer.
A viewing will be held at the Hoffman Funeral Homes, 2507 High St., Port Norris, on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be private in Haleyville Cemetery.
