Georgeanna Carol Wright, age 76 of Millville, passed away Monday morning, July 5, 2021, at Inspira Hospital.
"Boomie", as she was called by friends and family, was a lifelong resident of Millville. Boomie was a talented baker and cake decorator and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Leslie P. Wright, Sr., a brother, Melvin Morris III, and her parents Melvin and Ella Mae Morris
She is survived by 2 sons, Leslie "Beau" Wright, Jr. and his wife Kathryn and Spencer Wright; a sister, Ella Mae Densten, grandchildren, Ashley Pompper and her husband Edward Pompper, Jr., Damien Wright and his wife Carlee Wright, and Anthony Lanzi; great grandchildren, Parker Wright, Evelyn Nelsen, Lily Pompper, and Gianna Klawitter; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Boomie's funeral service 1 PM Friday, July 9th at Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street in Millville, where there will be a viewing from 11 AM to 1 PM. Cremation will be private.

I am so sorry that I wasn't aware of my dear cousin, Boomie's passing. Though my mom was born and raised in Millville, my siblings and I grew up in Philadelphia. We loved visiting Millville, but in recent years our family became smaller with just a few cousins remaining, causing a lack of knowing the goings on in Millville. Boomie and I kept in touch, which had me concerned when I wasn't hearing from her. Had I known of her passing I would have been there. I miss our many conversations. Boomie could make me laugh on my saddest day. Rest in peace, my cousin and friend.
