Helen M. Blystone, 89, of Dorchester died Monday evening, May 31, 2010, at South Jersey Healthcare Inpatient Hospice Center in Bridgeton after a brief illness.
Born in Smithville, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John and Leona Bowlen Monteith and the wife of the late Charles Blystone. Helen had resided in Dorchester the past 62 years. She retired from Colonial Applicator in Vineland.
Surviving are her son, Charles W. "Bill" Blystone Jr. and his wife Carol of Millville; grandsons, Bill and companion Lisa of Millville, and Ron and his wife Carrie of Dorchester; great-grandson, Eric; great-granddaughter, Morgan; stepgreat-grandson, Paul; stepgreat-great-grandson, Nicholas; and sisters, Blanche Sholtis of Fairchance, Pa.; and Betty Ramus of Norfolk, Va.
She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Monteith.
Private graveside services were held at Greenwood Memorial Park in Millville.
Memorial donations may be made to South Jersey Healthcare HospiceCare, P.O. Box 160, Bridgeton, NJ 08302.
Arrangements were handled by Hoffman Funeral Homes in Leesburg.
