John Boobar Obituary
Vineland - John "Johnny" Boobar, Sr., age 77 of Vineland passed away at home on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, surrounded by his family. He will finally be with his first wife Lida, the true love of his life.
John was a Teamster, Local 676 and a shop steward for Wheaton Glass. He loved spending time with his children and watching movies. His love for liver and onions was legendary, as was his beloved Hershey bars.
He resided with his sister Vicky and her husband, Rob Scattone until he passed away.
John is survived by his daughters, Barbara, Lillian, Rose, Vickie, Joann, and only son, John Jr. He had nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Heaven has claimed a good man, great father, and friend.
Funeral Services will be private for immediate family only. If you would like to honor John Boobar, please donate to Cancer Research in his name. If you do so, please let the family know at [email protected] so we can personally thank you. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. I worked with your father in the Frosting Department at Wheaton's. We were the shipping team. He would often stop in to say hello after I left for another job. He was just the nicest, caring soul. Always had my coffee ready in the morning! Treated me like a daughter. My sincere condolences.
