My condolences to friends and family on the passing of John Pierantozzi. As a former member of IAABO Board 196, Mr. Pierantozzi was the instructor of the Cadet class I was a part of for two years. He was very helpful and had a few tips on how to be the best basketball referee I can be. I am grateful to him for that advise. I have been a referee now for 14 years, and it's because of the instruction of Mr. Pierantozzi. He will be missed.

Bunny, Beth & Barbara,
There isn't a person in the area that doesn't have a story. I will NEVER forget when John gave me a fake technical foul during a basketball game. Everybody was in on it but me!! Cost me $5 and a memory for a life time. All my love and prayers!!

The IAABO family sends it heartfelt sympathy to John's family. I attended John's Life Membership induction in 2014 and he represented himself and the family very well. His service to IAABO was typical of those that loved the game and respected what it did for our youth. May he rest in peace.

John was dedicated to the students of Vineland High School. During my youth he was involved in all the youth sports in Vineland. As my offensive line football coach he was loved and respected by the tight unit he created. He kept things in perspective so the game was fun. I hope his family finds some peace in knowing his life was well lived and he was respected for his efforts.
