Lillian C. Battistella, 73, of Millville went to meet her Lord and Savior on Sunday morning, May 19, 2013. She went peacefully, surrounded by her family in her home.
Lillian had worked at Wheaton's as a packer for 16 years and most recently as a home health aide for Cumberland County Home Health Aide Service. She is a member of the Millville Church of the Nazarene.
She enjoyed traveling and loved being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Lillian is survived by her husband of 42 years, Richard R. Battistella Sr.; nine children, Kenny Moren, Millie Welch, Chuck Moren, John Moren, Vicky Montalvo, Joan Leek, Kim Battistella, Barb Burkholder and Rich Battistella Jr.; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday morning at the Barr Funeral Home, 2104 E. Main St., Millville. Her funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Millville Church of the Nazarene building fund, 2209 E. Main St., Millville, NJ 08332.

in the short time i spent with lillian, it didnt take me long to see what a wonderful woman she was. everyone who knew or got to spend time with her was truly blessed. im pleased to say i was lucky enough to get to know her. my prayers are with her family at this very hard time

My 2nd Mom, she helped me find my way when I was lost, and her inspiration has stayed with me throughout my life. My prayers go out to all of the family - loss is hardest on the living - her spirit was a shining light when she was here on earth. Now she will shine with Jesus.

I loved her very much and will miss her very much. She was one of the best friends anyone could ever have. She loved everyone and I don't know of anyone who didn't love her. My condolences to the family
