Nancy Schoettner Obituary
AGE: 60 • Newfield
Nancy Ruth Schoettner, nee Highley, of Newfield, NJ, passed away after a lengthy illness at the age of 60.
Predeceased by her father, Ralph J. Highley, Sr. and her sister, Brenda L. Smith, she is survived by her husband, David L. Schoettner; her mother, Audrey Highley; her sisters, Karen Desotelle (Gene) and Cheryl Lynn Jablow (Raymond); her brothers, Ralph J. Highley, Jr. (Marie), and Bryan Keith Highley (Linda); her aunts and uncles; multiple nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A viewing is scheduled for Tuesday, May 9, 2017, from 9:00-11:00 AM followed by her funeral service at 11:00 AM in MATHIS FUNERAL HOME, 43 N. Delsea Drive, Glassboro, NJ. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Greyhound Angels Rescue, 2325 W. Main St., Millville, NJ 08332, where Nancy devoted many volunteer hours caring for the greyhound dogs. Nancy was passionate about many things, animals, fishing and just being Nancy. She has left a bit of herself in each of us who knew and loved her. That will never go away, and so Nancy can never really leave us. It is unfortunate that she will not be with us, but we should rejoice for having known her and the part of her that we hold with us.
