Patrick Newton Obituary

Patrick Newton Sr.

Vineland - Patrick W Newton Sr., 97, of Vineland, passed away at home on December 18, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was a WWII veteran who fought in Patton's Army. He saw battle in Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe where he received many citations. Pat retired from Kimble Glass, and later employed by Shop Rite Supermarket but especially enjoyed being a Crossing Guard in his later years. He enjoyed watching the New York Giants, his favorite team, going to church and watching cowboy shows. His proudest accomplishments were his five sons and his daughter. He loved when his grandchildren and great-grandchildren would come to visit and play with him. He is survived by his children, Raymond & Lynn Newton, Patrick Jr & Linda Newton; Michael & Roseann Newton, Kenneth, Robert & Lora Newton and Mary Ann Newton; grandchildren, Jaime & Jessica Newton, Anthony & Paula Newton, Brian & Amanda Newton, Matt & Meghan Newton, Lauren & Scott Csaszar, Robert Newton Jr, Jessie Finalle-Newton and Lucas Finalle-Newton; great-grandchildren, Ashlynn, Caden, Dominic, Andrew, Mason, Alexa, Elliot, Ava Marie, and Aubry; brother John Newton and his sister Eleanor Capabionco (Frank). Patrick was predeceased by his wife, Jennie (Buono) Newton in 2015; brother, Raymond Newton; and his sisters, Annie Enoch (John), Elizabeth Mastrane (Frank) and Margaret Lilla (Albert). Due to COVID-19 restrictions everyone must wear a mask and social distance. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 12:30 pm from Christ The Good Shepherd Parish - Church Of Saint Isidore The Farmer, 1655 Magnolia Road, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. ARRANGEMENTS are under the supervision of Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ 08360.
