Ramon Baez Obituary
Vineland - Ramon V. Baez, age 83 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 19, 2019 in Eagleview Health and Rehab, Pittsgrove, surrounded by his loving family.
Ramon was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico to the late Emelio and Margarita (Gonzalez) Baez and he lived in Vineland the past 30 years.
He was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean War. Ramon was a member of Emmanuel Bible Church of Vineland.
He enjoyed fishing, traveling, and doing crafts.
Prior to retirement, he was a Maintenance man for Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden and later for the Eagles Nest Country Club of Woodbury.
Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Amalia (Ocasio) Baez of Vineland, nine children, Eric Baez (Miriam), Synder Baez (Evelyn), Maribel Aviles (Nelson), Ingo Baez-Bolorin (Jose), Jacqueline Baez (Heriberto), Erving Baez (Anna), Ivan Baez, Claribeth Baez and Rossana Baez (Angel). Also 46 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, 3 sisters, 3 brothers and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday (tomorrow), January 22, 2019 at 5:00 PM from the Emmanuel Bible Church, 75 Columbia Ave. Vineland with Pastor Roberto Gualan officiating. Burial will be private.
Family and friends may gather in the CHURCH from 4:00-6:00 PM
