Robert (Bob) K. Ruberti, 50, passed unexpectedly Jan. 6, 2013.
Bob was born in Vineland on Feb. 9, 1962, to the late Albert K. and Mary (Smith) Ruberti. He graduated from Vineland High School in 1980 and he spent most of his life in Vineland. He was an avid sports fan and had a vast knowledge of teams, players and sports statistics. Bob was the commissioner of a Fantasy Football league for more than 20 years and will be sorely missed. Bob loved the Phillies, but those who knew Bob, knew his love of the Dallas Cowboys was irrefutable and unwavering. He had a wonderful and giving heart and a terrific sense of humor.
Bob is survived by two brothers, Albert (Bud) and wife Lorraine of Millville, and Bruce and wife Karen of Lake Mary, Fla.; and one sister, Joyce R. Jackson of Vineland. He is also survived by nieces, Connie Ruberti of Washington, Alexandra Ruberti of Florida, Lisa Jackson of Vineland, Tosia Seeds of Maryland, along with Ami and Trevor Ashworth of Colorado, Hayley Ashworth of Australia and Gavin Ashworth of Florida. Bob will be sorely missed by close friends Evelyn Irizarry and Rick Ordelie.
A celebration of his life will be on Saturday between 2 to 5 p.m. at Bain's, 636 E. Landis Ave., Vineland. Please bring stories and photos to share. Memories and condolences maybe shared at www.ancscreamationservice.com.

Bob and I have been friends for 48 years. We grew up together and I have more memories and stories than would fit on this page. I loved him like a brother and will miss him terribly.

Saddened that my cousin left this life all too soon. He was always friendly and kind to me, even when we disputed over Dallas vs Philadelphia discussions...RIP, Bob.
