Stephen Edward Bond

Mays Landing - Stephen Edward Bond passed away March 8, 2018 in AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Pomona, NJ due to complications following a cardiac arrest. Mr. Bond was born March 14, 1982 in Washington Township, NJ to his parents Andrew Bond and Jacqueline (Ney) Johnson. Stephen spent his childhood in Vineland. He graduated from Vineland High School in 2000.

Stephen worked as a roofer most of his life, starting out working for his grandfather at Steve Bond Roofing and Sheet Metal. On October 24, 2010 Stephen was in a car accident that left him wheelchair bound. He never let his accident slow him down. He participated in many activities including surfing with Life Rolls On, fishing, swimming, construction work at his church Calvary Chapel, and collecting sports cards.

Stephen is survived by his mother and step-father, Jacqueline and Floyd Johnson, father, Andrew Bond, brother and sister-in-law, Barry A. and Michelle Giovinazzi and their children, Bradley and Dylan, sister, Jennifer Bond and her children. Stephen is preceded by his grandparents Steve Bond and Edward and Jacqueline Ney and his dog whom he named Indy because he was born on Independence Day.

A funeral home visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12:00pm to 1:00pm followed by a funeral service at 1:00pm officiated by Pastor Frank Ippolito of Calvary Church at the Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ. Interment will be private.

ARRANGEMENTS are under the supervision of the Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ 08360.

Donations in memory of Stephen may be made to Cumberland County SPCA & Animal Shelter, 1244 North Delsea Drive, Vineland, NJ 08360
