Timothy Owens Obituary
Millville - Timothy "Tim, Timmy, Timbo, Coach Bubblegum, Ears" Owens of Millville, NJ passed away at the age of 39 on Monday, July 19, 2021. He fought a long hard fourteen-month battle with Glioblastoma and was surrounded by family at the time of his passing.
Tim was born on June 29, 1982, in Bridgeton, NJ. He resided in Vineland for most of his life. Tim attended Vineland High School and played as quarter back on the VHS Football Team. After graduation, he began working at Ehrlichman Pest Control. Tim eventually moved on to be a truck driver, a career he ended up loving, at XPO, formerly known as Conway Freight.
Tim was a devoted son, brother, uncle, husband, and most of all, father. According to his children, he was "the best daddy in the entire world." He was determined to provide for his family and made sure to give them the best life he thought they deserved. Family meant more to Tim than anything in the world. He was an outstanding uncle and loved his nieces and nephews as much as his own children. Tim was a hero to his entire family.
On his off time, Tim loved coaching for Elk Township Little League where his son played baseball. This team was also a huge part of his life. He truly enjoyed watching his children play baseball and soccer. Tim was a loyal Phillies, Flyers, and Eagles fan. He attended games often and watched on TV when he couldn't be there in person.
Tim is survived by his parents, Sandy and Gary Navone; grandparents, Dorothy and Robert Fullerton; wife, Jaime Manel; his two children, Cayden and Kayla; stepdaughter, Jill; siblings, Matt, Amanda, Stacey (Ryan) and Sonia. He will also be missed by his nieces and nephew, Cheyenne, Arya, LillieMae, and Cameron along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 1pm to 3pm with funeral services at 3pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, family is asking donations be made to Jefferson Neuroscience or Elk Township Little League. Memories, thoughts and prayers may be extended to the family by visiting dlfuneral.com.
