Walter Asten "Buddy" Swenk, Jr. On Thursday, November 27, 2014. Age 54. Son of Mary O. (nee Lanning) and the late Walter A. Swenk, Sr. Brother of Richard (Dee) Swenk of Augustine, FL; Kenneth (Deb) Swenk of Franklinville, NJ; Steve (Dori) Swenk of Franklinville, NJ; and Mary (Ken) Goldman of Mt. Dora, FL. Uncle to 9 nieces and nephews. Good friend of Jerry Truster.
Born in Darby, PA and raised in Franklinville, Buddy has been a resident of Vineland for the past 15 years. He worked for SL Swenk Heating & Air for a number of years and most recently as a mechanic for Moe's Garage in Vineland. Buddy enjoyed fishing and crabbing and especially spending time with his family. He was a fan of the Eagles and loved music, especially the Rolling Stones. His family remembers him as having the heart of a child which made him a natural with children and pets and as being very mechanically inclined fixing everything from cars to computers.
