Wayne Creeden Obituary
Lawrence Twp - Wayne J. Creeden, 74, of Lawrence Township, passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 25th after battling multiple illnesses.
Wayne was born in Philadelphia on October 6th, 1946. Upon completion of high school he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, and served in Vietnam. While overseas he received several accolades including a Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for saving a child from a fire. He was honorably discharged in 1967.
He entered the glass trade which brought him to South Jersey in the 80s as a salesman for Frederick & Dimmock. After his time at F&D he moved on to sales for Heritage Propane where his affable personality amassed him a plethora of friends, whom affectionately referred to him as "Propane Wayne".
When he was not working he could be found RV camping or hanging in the Andrews garage, where the motto was "What happens in the garage, stays in the garage." He was a member of the Elks, the Recreation Club of Vineland, and Eagles. He was a devout Catholic and served as an usher at the Church of All Saints.
Wayne is preceded by mother, Dorothy; father, Cornelius; two brothers, Neil & Michael. And survived by his wife, Maria; brothers, Raymond & John; sons, Matthew & Jason; daughter, Gretchen; son-in-law, Zak; daughter-in-law, Cordelia; grandson, Silas; along with a multitude of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

I worked with Wayne back in the 80s at Vitro Dynamics In Rockaway NJ.
