Rita I. Rozelle

1953 - 2025

Rita Ilene Wilson Rozelle, 71, passed away Thursday February 13, 2025, at Corewell Health - Greenville Hospital. The daughter of Max & Marie (Mieras) Wilson, she was born on October 3, 1953 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Rita had a kind and silly spirit and throughout the difficulties in her life, she always maintained a positive and happy outlook. Rita experienced many hardships in her life, none so tragic as the death of her only child April in a car accident when she was 14.
Rita carried a lifetime of grief and sadness over losing April but is now reunited with her for eternity. She was also a breast cancer survivor after several years of successful treatment. Rita was employed by Frigidaire for most of her life and retired when the plant closed in 2006.
Throughout her retirement she enjoyed social hours with her close friends and doing puzzles.
She is survived by her brother, Robert Wilson; and her loving nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date for family and loved ones to celebrate her life. Imagine getting to Heaven and the first thing God says to you is "I have someone who has been waiting for you" Rest in peace, Aunt Rita. You will be forever missed.
