Robert "Bob" Foote

1937 - 2025

Robert "Bob" E. Foote, 88, of Greenville, passed away on November 2, 2025, at home. Bob was born on July 13, 1937, in Barryton, Michigan, the son of Freeman and Mable (Sanger) Foote. Bob was a man of many talents, he enjoyed buying houses and renting them out, anything to do with cars, tinkering about on things, car shows, and of course; Bob was known for his pink hats! He was a mechanic by trade and had a few shops around town over the years. He had a sweet tooth and loved candy, even venturing into making his own for a while. He would never turn down a root beer float and was a regular at the Greenville Big Boy. He had a colorful personality and will be missed.
He is loved and survived by his children; Robert (Michelle) Foote, Jeffrey Foote, Christine (Jeffrey) Winter, step children; Katherine (Rodney) Anderson, Kenneth Ezell, 11 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren, his good friends; Bill Dakin, Bob (Sarah) Moffett, John Rupert, along with many other extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife of 43 years, Virginia Foote.
Funeral services for Bob will be held on Tuesday, November 11th at 11am at Hurst Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Hauck officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30am - 11am. Interment will follow at East Montcalm Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Bob may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
