Arlene Simonds Obituary
BATTLE CREEK - Arlene Grace (Pask) Simonds, 94, passed away on August 19, 2015 in Howell, MI surrounded by her family. She was born on July 21, 1921 in Woodbridge Twp, Hillsdale, MI, the seventh of nine children, to the late Clarence C. and Ethel (Sweet) Pask.
Arlene was a 1939 graduate of Coldwater High School. Arlene worked as a switchboard operator in Coldwater, Ft. Custer and Percy Jones Hospital. Arlene married Robert L. Simonds on April 26, 1942. During the 1940's and 1950's they owned Columbia Hardware. Arlene was a sales clerk at Jacobson's from 1974 until they closed. Arlene also volunteered in the gift shop at Mercy Pavilion.
Arlene is preceded in death by her husband Robert, parents, brothers Raymond, Loyal, R. T., Harry, and Kenneth Pask, sisters Mildred Parker, Maxine Potter, and Margaret Tipsword.
Arlene is survived by her daughter Linda (Bruce) Myers of Howell, MI and a son R. Scott (Loretta) Simonds of Battle Creek, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday and Sunday 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at Royal Funeral Home in Battle Creek. Services will be Monday 1:30 p.m. at Royal Funeral Home with burial at 2:30 p.m. at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.

Linda and Bruce and Family so sorry for your loss. I remember Aunt Arlene with always a smile on her face and being so kind. She will be greatly missed. Love and Hugs to you all

Hi there, we used to live next door to arlene for years. She is gone to heaven and she was a wonderful neighbor , her and bob both. We visited with them quite often and i am sure the kids would remember us. Mostly Scott. god bless
