I am so sorry to hear about Doug´s passing. He grew up down the road from me. He was friends with my brother Denver. I always looked up to him. He loved my spicy spaghetti back in the day. He was just a really nice guy. So sorry Vicky. I remember when you two first started dating. I am glad you had a great life together.

So sorry to hear of Doug's passing...
I remember what a kind, gentle person he was back in high school, and I also remember how smart he was, and he always had a smile for everyone. Keeping you all in my prayers.

I met Doug through his work (he did a great deal of work for us at church) and he was a great guy. Always welcoming in his demeanor and gracious as he taught me (the unlearned/unknowing) the things I needed to know.
My sympathies to those who loved him. But this not goodbye, rather yet I'll see you in the morning!
Grace and peace to you all,
Paul

We will miss you Doug. You were a wonderful addition to our group doing our Newark Pastors breakfast. We love you and will see you again in a glorious place. You were too young to leave us yet. Blessings to your family.

I knew Doug many years ago. We attended the same church for years. Many years later we crossed paths again in a home bible group. He always appeared to be a genuine person in love with God. He will be missed. So sorry to hear of his passing. I pray God comforts you in the great time of need. Love and Prayers, Tina Spencer

Doug loved Jesus and his family more than anything. He was kind and generous. I will always remember him for his musical passion and the words of wisdom he would share during our Life Group. The spirit of God connects people like no other. He walked in the Spirit and in Truth. You are missed!

Doug Posey was one of the kindest individuals that I knew. He treated everyone the same. If he knew a problem an individual was having he would pull them aside and talk to them and always end with a prayer. I truly believe he was one of Gods chosen ones and that he went beyond of what God expected of him. He will truly be missed and this earth will not be the same without him.

Doug was a very kind person. whom I was glad to have met. And who I was glad to have called family. I´ll never forget the time I have got to spend with him. I always thought it was really awesome! That before I met Doug he went to school with and knew my dad. I send my up most deepest condolences to the rest of his family and his beloved wife Vicky.
