Joshua Rifenburgh

1972 - 2014

Joshua Rifenburgh, 41, of Coldwater, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.

A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary of Assumption Church in Bronson with Rev. Fr. Richard Fritz officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 6, 2014 from 4 -8:00 PM at Dutcher-Kolcz Funeral Home in Bronson.

Joshua was born November 3, 1972 in Sturgis, MI to Kenneth Allan & Janet (Losinski) Rifenburgh. He married Debra Lach on March 26, 2004.

Josh graduated from Bronson High school in 1991. He had continued to further his education and skills by taking various courses over the years. Josh was currently working as an engineer at Asama for the past 9 years.

Josh enjoyed ice fishing and 4-wheeling and loved to sing karaoke. He was a very knowledgeable movie connoisseur with an extensive collection. Josh enjoyed his many nieces and nephews, but most of all he was a dedicated father to his pride and joy, his daughter Sydni.

Josh is survived by his wife Debi, his daughters Sydni Jo Rifenburgh, Jamie Lynn Bailey, his parents Janet Losinski, Allan (Tammy) Rifenburgh all of Bronson, his brothers and sister Heath (Sherri) Rifenburgh of Bronson, Damien (Amanda) Rifenburgh of Vicksburg, Trinity (Travis) Arver of Bronson, his grandma Norma Rifenburgh of Bronson and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents William & Clara Losinski and Ken Rifenburgh.
Memorials may be directed to an educational fund for Sydni Jo Rifenburgh or the Battle Creek Humane Society.
