Barbara Jean Cresse Barbara Jean Cresse, age 75 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023 at UT Medical Center. Barbara was a graduate of Walland High School and a native and long-term resident of Cold Springs. She was an avid UT Vols fan and donor and loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Mattison (Matt) N. Cresse; daughter, Shelia Kay Wingo; granddaughter, Bridgett Diane Wingo; father, Robert H. Ogle. Survived by her sons, Terrance H. Wingo (Mary), Michael D. Wingo; daughter, Leslie M. Mealer (Dalen); stepsons, Doug Cresse, David Cresse; grandchildren, Kayla D. Bell, Terrance H. Wingo Jr., Lindsey K. Headrick, Alesha S. Wingo, Brandon O. Bell; great-grandchildren, Brylee M. Headrick, Rhiannon S. Wingo, Jodi B. Headrick, Olivia J. Houzvicka; mother, Maryellen Humphrey Newman; brothers, Steve Newman, Joe Newman. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Friday, February 24, 2023 at Smith Trinity Chapel. The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jack Campbell officiating.
