Born: December 11, 1950 | Died: November 25, 2025
Billie Jo Hembree, age 74, of Maryville passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at her home. Billie graduated from Pellissippi State Community College. She was a very active member of Gray Ridge Baptist Church. She spent a lot of time helping mentally challenged and Special Education students. Billie was a cancer survivor. Survivors include her husband of over 42 years, Carlos Marion Hembree; son, Dakota Eagle; daughter, Angela Higgins; six grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Brenda Head. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, with the service to follow in the Trinity Chapel with Rev. Jason Word officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Grandview Cemetery for the Interment. I went to church with Billie and Carl at Freewill Baptist for years. She was always such a sweet lady willing to help and encourage anyone. I'm thankful that God allowed me to know her. Prayers for the family and may God bless each of you with peace and strength. To God be the glory for His goodness and mercy.
