Born: September 22, 1931 | Died: September 4, 2025
Dorothy McGhee Talbott, age 93 of Maryville passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 4, 2025, surrounded by family at her home. She was a faithful member of Middlesettlements Methodist Church and loved taking care of the children at Green Meadow Methodist Church Daycare and Broadway Baptist Church Daycare. Dorothy was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She found joy in baking and cooking and spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, Ray Talbott; her parents and seven siblings. Survivors include her son, Roger Talbott; daughters, Nancy Talbott and Lisa Hendrickson and husband, Greg Hendrickson; granddaughter, Emma Hendrickson. The family would like to thank Right At Home and Blount Hospice for their love and care of Dorothy. Family and friends will assemble at 3:00 pm on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Grandview Cemetery for the interment. A Memorial Service to celebrate Dorothy's Life will be held at 4:30 pm Friday at Middlesettlements Methodist Church with Rev. Megan Stubblefield officiating.
