James Joseph Brooks, age 36 of Maryville, passed away on October 27, 2025. He worked at Butler's Wrecker Service & Auto, LLC. Proceeded in death by Father, Zelis David Brooks and Sister, Samantha Lynn Brooks. He leaves behind his loving Wife, Amber Lawhon and Stepdaughters, Skylar Cole and Deche' Galyon; Mother, Joyce Brooks; Sister, Beth Kirkland, Brother-in-Law. Lee Kirkland: Nephews, Isaiah and Tyler Hackworth; Nieces, Sarah Kirkland Mesiner, Emily, Maggie and Kaylee Kirkland; Great Nephews, Kirkland and Kampbell Mesiner, his loving Work Family, Jerry and Ada Hall, Brandon Hall and Jeran Hall, Vivian White and Co-Worker, Robert Bear, many customers of Butler's Wrecker Service and many, many friends. Celebration of Life will be held at: Rio Revolution Church, 3419 E. Lamar Alexander Parkway, Maryville, TN 37804 on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Participating First Responders and others will meet at 1:00 P.M. at the Justice Center for the Procession to the church. Visitation and Service to follow 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. In lieu of flower, anyone who wants to donate on behalf of James can give directly to Memorial Funeral Home, 1102 Big Springs Road, Maryville, TN 37801 or at CBBC Bank where a Memorial Fund has been established.
