James "Gregg" Holder

1961 - 2025

Gregg passed away unexpectedly at the age of 64. Born and raised in and around the beautiful mountains, rivers and lakes of East Tennessee, Gregg was a true outdoorsman. One of his greatest loves was having a line in the water. In his younger days he was frequently found in a deer stand or just walking the woods with a rifle over his shoulder and a smile on his face. He never met a campfire that he didn't improve on by filling the air with story after story. Gregg enjoyed being surrounded by friends and usually had a full cooler ready to share a cold drink and even more stories.

Gregg is preceded in death by his parents J.G. and Brenda Holder, sister Lisa McCroy, nephew C.J. Holder and niece Kim Stephens. He is survived by his wife Teresa, brother Curtis and sister Leslie.

In honor of Gregg's life take someone fishing, share a cup of coffee with some old friends and tell some long, tall stories. He'd like that best!
