Rebecca Deann Cockrum, born and raised in Townsend, TN, passed away in Knox County, TN on Thursday, Nov 20th, 2025 at the age of 41 years old. Born on April 6th, 1984, Rebecca was known as "Becky Ann" by her immediate family and was dearly loved by family and friends. Becky served in the Army and was discharged in 2005 after being deployed to Iraq during the Iraq War. Becky is preceded in death by both of her parents, Jeffrey DeWayne Cockrum and Nancy Rebecca (Reagan) Cockrum, her brother DeWayne Alan Cockrum, grandparents including Lois (Hembree) Reagan), several Uncles and Aunts and other extended family members. Becky is survived by her uncle Nathan Reagan and family and aunt Nanette (Reagan) Brewer and family, all of Townsend, as well as several cousins and extended family members. Becky will be laid to rest on Monday, Dec 1st, 2025 at 1 PM at Tuckaleechee Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Ronnie Hepperly officiating the graveside service. Family and friends are welcomed to gather at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers consider a donation to the upkeep of the cemetery grounds at Tuckaleechee Primitive Baptist Church or to the food pantry that feeds dozens of local families each week at RIO Townsend Church.
