Aaron James Rowe Peck

Aaron Peck Obituary

Temple, Texas - Aaron James Rowe Peck, 23, formerly of Connecticut, passed peacefully away on Aug. 18, 2014, in Temple, Texas. He was the husband of J.T. Williams.

Aaron was born in Norwich on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22, 1990, the son of Roberta Rose (Moore) Conroy.

Aaron attended the Maritime Education Network School in Old Saybrook, run by Katharine Davids, who he adored. It is there that he developed a love of piloting and building boats. He also enjoyed doing landscaping work.

Living life as a free spirit, Aaron never stayed in one place long enough to put down permanent roots.

In addition to his wife, he leaves behind his mother, Roberta and Terry Evitts of Coppers Cove, Texas; great-grandfather, James Rowe and wife, Cecelia, of Seabrook, Texas; grandparents, Andrew and Carol Steward of Ledyard; brother, Andrew Conroy of Coppers Cove; sister, Kaci Evitts of Terre Haute, Ind.; nephew, Cameron Conroy of Killeen, Texas; uncle, Michael Moore of Willimantic, and Sara and Nicole Moore of Westerly, R.I. He is also survived by foster parents, Henry and Christine Kaiser; Nicole, sister of his heart, and husband, Shane, all of Norwich; and Mindy Peck, sister by choice, of Windsor.

Aaron left this world to join his great-grandmother, Annette Rowe and his great aunt and uncle, Bernadette and Robert McDonald.

Aaron came into this world loved by many and although his time on earth was short, he left it loved by so many more. He will be missed.

An 11 a.m. funeral service will be held on Sept. 20, 2014 at St. James Church in Preston. A reception will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Juvenile Diabetes, Greater New Haven Branch, 2969 Whitney Ave., Hamden, CT 06518.

Aaron, you had a special connection to everyone, particularily your calm composure, drone eyes, radar emotions and dry humor. You will be missed especially by your brother Drew. He told me about the
hug you gave him in the hospital at the end of July, and that you both cried-I know he will miss you. Your mom Rose is missing you to, and you know I do, too. My eyes swell at the memories-when you helped the female vet and her prosthesis-she was limping a little, and you ran up to her, you were afraid she'd fall backwards, and then her boyfriend hugged you, thanking you. You liked her tattoos on her other leg. You had a passion for vets from afghan and Iraq-you deeply admired them, which goes back to Chris and Hank. You even asked me about you joining.
Well, you are in God's Army
now, and you can see us all.
Watch out for all of us, as
we look up to you. Love,
JT.

Aaron, it's so hard to believe that you're gone. Nothing in my life seems to make sense now. I wish I could hear your voice, and see your smile just one more time. There was so much of life that you never got to experience. How I wish I could trade places with you. But I know that we will be together again one day. Until then, I know you will be watching over all of us who love you. From now on, every time I see a rainbow, I'll know it's you smiling from heaven. I will always remember you, and you will live forever in my heart. Mommy loves you sweet boy.
