Ginny and the rest of the Montanaro's, Andy was the kindest man I ever met. My first job being at Cherrystones when I was 16 I have had the pleasure of knowing him half my life. The entire family have been such an important part of my life. Having babysat for some of the grandkids and being friends with many others he has always had a smile on his face. He will be missed and my deepest sympathies.

I too would like to add my & husband's sympathy & condolences to the Montanaro family. We,family and friends have been going to Cherry stones for years- the Happy Hours, dinners in the bar area & dining room, Halloween Parties & New Year's Eve parties. Always a personal greeting from Andy, Drew or Jeff. It was especially dear to see Andy and on a few special occassions, Andy & Ginny. They always looked so happy together,a lovely couple. Andy is very missed. I think of you often on my trips about town, whenever I pass Cherrystones- a belated thank you for so many wonderful times. Life always seemed to hold great enjoyment for him. Sincerely, Connie & Donald Tapper

Dearest Ginny, Drew, Patty, Jeff, Susan, Jeri and Michael and to all the rest of the family, I am sending to you my sincere sympathy. I was so taken back to hear of Andy passing. What a fantastic man he was! I have so many great memories of him. He was always so kind. Always had a nice thing to say about me and all those around him. He just always made you feel so good. He welcomed me into his home when I was just a little girl and friends with Jeri and later gave me a job at the 100 Acres and then again later at Cherrystones. He was a great boss and friend. May you find peace and comfort knowing that one day we will all reunite with him again as he is to reunite today with his loss family and friends that soared ahead of him. God Bless you Andy, may you rest in peace.

It can be so hard to face the first year without your loved one, but the love of family and friends can carry you through.

October 16, 2013

Anyone who ever worked for Andy would tell you he was the best boss you could ever ask for. I should know...worked for him most of my adult life. He understood the value of hard work and also the value of every person he met. Friend, customer, employee...it didn't matter, he treated all with respect. And in return he was respected by everyone he met.
I believe he never judged a single person, just shrugged his shoulders and smiled that twinking smile.
There are no words to express my sympathy to the Montanaro family.
What a wonderful, one of a kind man.
