Anthony Ramsey

Mystic - Anthony Ramsey, 67, of Mystic, was born Oct. 19, 1958 in Philadelphia, Pa., and passed away Oct. 31, 2025. He was the son of the late Irene Davis. He was a father, friend and veteran of the U.S. Navy. Anthony served his country with honor and humility.

He experienced profound loss in his lifetime, having been widowed twice. He spoke often and lovingly of his late wives, Dawn Ramsey of Groton, and Diane Ramsey of Philadelphia, Pa.

He is survived by his daughters, Kendra Fernald and Randa Ramsey; son Brandon Ramsey; brother Derek Davis; sister Helena Davis; as well as a host of grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews who will remember him for his steady humor and the love of his team, the Philadelphia Eagles.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, at the Mystic Funeral Home located on Route 1 in Mystic. Following the service at the funeral home, his Interment with military honors will be at 1 p.m. at the CT State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, in Middletown.
