Antoinette DeMarinis Obituary

Gales Ferry - Antoinette R. DeMarinis, 101, of Gales Ferry and formerly of Groton died peacefully at home Monday, June 9, 2025, with her family by her side.

She was born Feb. 23, 1924, in Groton, the daughter of Pasquale and Mary Moran Franciosi. Antoinette is the wife of the late Nicholas DeMarinis and was predeceased by a son Dennis.

She worked at the R. E. Fitch Middle School in the cafeteria for over 40 years.

Survivors include her two sons, Robert of Gales Ferry and Nicholas of California.

A graveside service will be held at Noon Thursday, June 12, at Col Ledyard Cemetery, Mitchell Street, Groton. Byles-Groton Memorial Home, 310 Thames St., Groton is assisting the family.
