She helped us when The Old Mystic Store flooded. She rearranged the Store and helped paint and build our new shelves. Bobby did all this while she was sick because helping a neighbor is what you do. What a selfless act, I just wanted to express my admiration, say "thank you", once again, and share this story of bravery with the family.

Barbara was a long time member at Mystic Curves. She was very dedicated. I will always remember her beautiful smile and her gracefulness. She was loved by many and will be missed!

Barbara was a pro with a warm and friendly smile and laugh no matter what the circumstances. She helped me learn how to raise funds and have fun doing it when I was Superintendent at CGA.
My condolences to the family.
With respect, RADM Rube Olsen, USCG (ret)

I always considered Barbara to be one of the most beautiful women I had ever seen. Her beauty was not just visual but from the inner glow of her intellect, elegance, accomplishements, love of family and the other loves in her life. A very special person indeed. God Bless her always. Michael Moore

Did fundraising with Barbara as a MBA student at Hartford Grad Center. So much energy; so friendly; so professional and so thoughtful and caring!
My heart goes out to her friends and family. Too soon.

I was privileged to work with Barbara when she was at the Coast Guard Foundation. As I was a new board member, she immediately reached out to me and with wonderful warmth and humor, made me feel at ease. I am so very sorry for the loss of a woman who, to me, represented that rare blend of grit and determination with elegance and grace.

She was a brave woman to go out fighting this horrible disease. May she be resting peacefully now. Thinking of all family and friends.

To the entire family,
Words can't express how sorry I am for your loss. May you all find peace knowing she is no longer suffering and is singing sweet music to all who greeted her in Heaven.
