Bonny Hesselman Obituary

Old Lyme - Bonny May (Smedick) Hesselman, 68, of Noble Avenue, died on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at the Smilow Cancer Center at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Mrs. Hesselman was born on Oct. 12, 1945, in Middletown, the daughter of Phillip and Emily Smedick. She married Thomas J. Hesselman on June 12, 1965 in East Hampton.

Mrs. Hesselman is survived by her loving husband; her son, Thomas Hesselman Jr. of Old Lyme; her daughter, Tammy Lynn Lodi of Old Lyme; her grandchildren, Peter and Zachery Lodi of Old Lyme; her brother, Jeffery of Texas; and her sister, Kelly of New Hampshire.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, in Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 13 Beckwith Lane, Old Lyme. Calling Hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the service on Thursday, in the funeral home.

I am so sorry to hear of Bonny's passing. I was a childhood friend(we always got in trouble together as kids in East Hampton) We used to dance to gether in her Grandmother kitchen. I remember when she and Tom were first going out, I lived in Moodus at the time. I lost touch and many times have thought about her and Tom and wondered where they were.
