He was a Connecticut State Guard veteran of World War II and served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean War. He was employed for 33 years by N.F.A. as a math and science teacher.
Visiting hours will be from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Labenski Funeral Home, 107 Boswell Ave., Norwich followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at the Cathedral of St. Patrick at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow in St. Mary Mausoleum with military honors.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the N.F.A. Foundation, 321 Broadway, Norwich CT 06360 or to Hospice of SE CT, P.O. Box 902, Uncasville, CT 06382.
