Cheryl Rydecki Obituary
Cheryl married the love of her life, James Rydecki Aug. 10, 2003, in East Lyme; Mr. Rydecki survives her.
She worked for 20 years at Sheffield Tube in New London. She loved going to the Waterford Beach, and was an avid NASCAR fan, following her favorite driver Jeff Gordon.
Besides her beloved husband James of 48 years together, she is survived by a sister, Wendy Preischel of East Lyme; two stepbrothers, James, and Ricky Simons. She was predeceased by a stepbrother, Robert Simons.
Funeral services are private. "All the pain and grief is over, Every restless tossing passed; I am now at peace forever, safely home in Heaven at last."
The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London, has been entrusted with her care.
