Chester Zachery "Chet" Pierce Jr.

Ledyard - Chester "Chet" Zachery Pierce Jr., 77, passed away July 28, 2024, surrounded by the ones who loved him. He is predeceased by his wife Sandra Lee Brinson Pierce. He is survived by his daughter Jodie and her children, Dakota and Rylee Grover; and his new great-grandson Carter Grover; his daughter Tammy and husband Rick Avery and her children, Winter Riffle and Jessie Avery; his daughter Brenda and husband Howard Worst and their children, Josh and Emily; and his son Chester III and his children, Brittany, Jared, Codi, Mackenzie and Alexis. He also leaves behind his companion of seven years Carol Pasieka. He will be missed by the countless family and friends he has had over the years. He was always there for his family and the best father, grandfather and great-grandfather to all who loved him.

Chet's family will greet relatives and friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Mystic. A Graveside Service with full military honors will be held at noon Sunday, Aug. 4, at Ledyard Center Cemetery, Route 117, Ledyard.
