Claire DiCesare Obituary
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late George L. and Martha (Hutchison) Papineau.
Claire enjoyed painting, especially with oils. She liked to garden and loved to host family gatherings.
Surviving are a son, Louis DiCesare II and his wife, Cindy, of Stonington and their children Patrick, Kelsey, Rachel, and Sean; three daughters, Michelle DiCesare of Mystic, Celeste DiCesare of Stonington and her children, Nathaniel and Emily, and Jennifer Barrett and her husband, Tim, of Newfield, Maine and their children, Melissa and Megan; and a sister, Joanne Carpenter of Foster, R.I.
She was predeceased by a brother, Donald Papineau.
Calling hours are omitted. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service which will be held at 12 noon Tuesday in Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. Burial will be private.
Family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory be made to Memorial and Honor Program, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105-1942.
