So sorry for your loss. She was very brave and a warrior! A light has gone out but she will always shine in our memories. I have many wonderful ones from our retreats and meditations together, as well as several books we shared. She had one of my favorite gardens ever and a wonderful upstairs room, I will
picture her spirit there! So glad to have known her & shared sacred time.

I got to know Diana through her friendship with my mom, Kate Robinson, in Stonington. I felt Diana was a kindred spirit, and we shared a love for nature and spirituality. We had wonderful times at the Gem Show in Arizona each winter, as Diana came to collect healing stones, and my mother and I beads. I will never forget Archie holding and playing with my baby Luke so I could eat dinner in an Italian restaurant, and the loving bond he and Diana formed with my kids. Diana and Archie even collected stones and copralite (fossilized dinosaur poop) for a care package for my kids, which they got great enjoyment from. Diana was with me when Luke said his first word "moon", looking at the moon with Diana and I. We had many fun times in Stonington and Connecticut that I will cherish. My thoughts are with Archie, Ben, and Laura at this time, at the loss of such a wonderful mother and wife. I will always remember Diana's glow, her calmness and intention, and her wonderful presence.

I mourn Diana's passing and celebrate her graceful life as one of her many Stonington friends and neighbors. She made a daily difference. She made all our lives better by knowing how to manifest her kindness and intelligence on every occasion.

I´m so sorry to hear of Diana´s passing. I came to meet her through a dear friend to both of us, Charlene Masters, who died just two years ago. Diana was a source of strength to Charlene as she too battled cancer. I referred to Diana as Charlene´s "spiritual advisor" as she was filled with optimism, a nurturing spirit and she always offered just the right words at just the right moment. I know she will be missed!

I first met Diana at the Wad Club in Stonington, CT She asked me if I would like to pet sit for the weekend. I fell in love with Penny, Lexie, Panther and, Miss Kitty first. But soon after I was smitten with the entire family. Diana started me on my spiritual journey. We liked poetry, art, music, needle point, and knitting, herbs, and gardening. Sometimes I would be walking my dog by her house and Diana would invite me in for tea. She was so wise, kind, and caring. She was funny and smart. In her presence you always felt seen, heard, and appreciated. Diana was a beautiful radiant soul. A rare gem of a person : you will cherish in memories.I feel very honored to have spent some time with her. Be free Diana! No limitations now! Miss you! Ann Gilchrist

My sincere condolences to Archie and those who knew Diana. I was blessed at the opportunity to help she and Archie find their dream home in Mission Hills. Diana had a genuine, sparkling personality that welcomed everyone into her room and into her life. I'm saddened to hear that we will no longer be fortunate to have her physical presence with us on Earth, however her spirit and sense of humor and humanity will live long in many of our minds and hearts.

Archie, I'm sorry for your loss of such a wonderful wife and mother. Diana will be missed by me and many others at the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Desert. She was an inspiration to us. She was a dedicated leader and a patron of our Sacred Grounds. I've made a donation in her name to the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Desert. This is a small way to continue her work in the Coachella Valley of California.

My son, Jerrell, and Diana were book buddies. She gave him lovely books and Jerrell and I shared our homemade oatmeal raisin cookies with her. It was wonderful knowing her.

My family was lucky enough to become fast friends with the Leslie´s and both Archie and Diana were a popular guest to our home for dinners.
Diana always fascinated me as a spiritual character full of brimming energy just below the surface of her quiet, graceful patience. She was always attentive with her uncanny kindness and radiantly abundant happiness which she had somehow learned to carry throughout her life.
In the times when I chose to seek my own spiritual path in life, I often would think of Diana as an eventual audience to my stories and my findings if ever I did make a discovery that she herself had not already happened upon. She turned me towards Wonderful books to read and references to draw from enduring as a positive influence to my creative life. While her physical presence will be missed her spirit endures as a most welcome guest.
My love and kind regards to the family.

Our somatic resilience group was deepened and made more loving by Diana's generous spirit. Diana met us all with compassion and regard in our conversations, as she shared honestly and vulnerably about her own spiritual and embodiment work. I know we all appreciated her consistently showing up for our group. She also made it possible for scholarship for others by contributing more financially.
Her light and heart will live with me and her memory is a blessing.

Thank you for this heartfelt Obituary.
Diana gifted in many ways and was a wise leader. She became my first dear friend in Stonington when she invited me to join her creative ~ Soul Retrieval Weekend Retreats - that were scheduled twice a year on solstices. These weekends were rich with creativity, meditation, and laughter. You always returned deepened by the time spent in company ~ She blessed all of us with her kindness and her presence - and how she adored - you two - Laura & Ben - your partners and those two utterly adorable grandchildren. And was generous with her friendship.
She helped us restore our sense the sacred in the everyday world. In cultivation our sense of wonder in Nature. Our walks in the woods or at the retreat awakened our relationship to the precious natural world. We won't go back to sleep.
She was the courageous Leo who faced her physical challenges with a LION HEART ~
I love her dearly and that will never change. Love is timeless and in my philosophy ~ so is the essence of Diana. My hunch is we will all hear from her! If we have not already!

With deep sorrow for Archie, Laura and Ben for the loss of this remarkable woman. I met Diana in a yoga class in Palm Springs and immediately knew we were kindred. I am grateful for her grace, her kindness, her authenticity, her love of spirit in the natural world and her committment to truth and justice. The world is so much better for her existence. I grieve her loss. I will think of her on the trail.
