Dino Dart Obituary
Dino was in the hairdressing and real estate business for many years. He was a member of Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, a choir member and always helped at their annual Greek festival. He made everyone laugh, speaking in his Greek accent. Dino took care of everyone; he was so giving and the ultimate family man. There wasn't a Greek pastry that he couldn't make.
Dino was predeceased by his parents, Duncan and Barbara Dart; brother Kenneth; and sister Kathy Wood. He is survived by his sisters, Paula Dart and Thelma Hunter and her husband Rick; brother-in-law Doug Wood; nieces and nephews: Tiffiney Dart, Rob and Chris Fournier, Scott Hunter and his wife Elena; and great-nieces and nephews: Maryah Dart and Sophia, Ezekiel and Reagan Hunter.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday April 21, in Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, 200 Hempstead Street, New London. Donations in his memory may be made to Saint Sophia Church. Interment will be private. The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London, has been entrusted with his care.

Dear Paula, Thelma, family and friends,
Dino will forever remain in our hearts.
He touched so many lives with his love, laughter and willingness to help others.
Whenever we returned to CT we could always count on seeing Dino at St Sophia as he was a man of deep faith. He was at every wedding and baptism in our family. He brought joy and a funny remark to brighten everyone’s day.
We will miss you ,dear cousin, but we know someday we will be reunited in heaven.

Dear Thelma, Paula & Family,
I am very sorry for your loss. Dino was so good to the Synodi family over the years. We're so saddened by this loss.
To say that Dino was a character from a sitcom doesn't do justice to all of the fun and laughs that he brought to so many. I'm sure we all have stories to tell that would make us all laugh and he would enjoy so very much.
I would regularly check in with my mother to make sure I wasn't on "Dino's list". You didn't want to get on that "list". The last I knew I was still clear.
I suspect that he is airing his grievances right now. Remember the fun times.

Thanks for all the times you bailed me out as a youth and for helping my mom put me back together after that unfortunate bike accident - you really cared about us, I'll never forget you!

Thelma & Paula, and family - we are so very sorry. A huge loss, but I know he is up there laughing his usual way with Mom & Dad. Dino meant so much to our family. He was our chauffer on our wedding day, gave both of our kids their first haircuts, became my Nouno later in life, and always made us laugh. Rest easy Dino - you will be greatly missed.
