Edward Corrigan Obituary

North Stonington - Edward Joseph "Ed" Corrigan III, 62, passed away quietly at home May 9, 2025, surrounded by family, after a brief battle with cancer.

Ed was born to Edward Joseph Corrigan and Margaret Corrigan in Providence, R.I., April 6, 1963. After he graduated from Grasso Technical High School in 1981, he went on to work in the carpentry trade for many years.

In 2008, Ed met the love of his life, Liz Torre. Together they had a lovely daughter, Valentina Corrigan. As an experienced carpenter, Ed was always out helping others. He took pride in his carpentry work. He was often seen working in his yard or attending his daughter's school events. He was so proud of his daughter and all of her accomplishments.

He loved animals, the great outdoors, enjoyed biking with his daughter, and supported the local sports teams that his daughter played on. Ed and Liz remained devoted partners for 18 years.

Ed was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by the love of his life, Liz Torre; and his beautiful daughter Valentina Corrigan. He is also survived by his brother William; and two sisters, Laura and Deborah. He also leaves his friends and extended family that will forever cherish his larger-than-life spirit.

Ed will have a private celebration and have his ashes spread in places that meant the most to him.
