Family and friends are invited to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Saturday, July12, in St. Joseph Church, 149 Montauk Ave., New London. Interment to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New London. The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London has been entrusted with his care. A complete obituary will appear in Thursday's edition of The Day.

So sorry for your loss Beth and Eddie. Your dad lived an amazing life. He was born the same year as my Dad and had a similiar experience to my Mom giving up an incredible sports opportunity for an admirable reason.

As the very best neighbor ever we are so very blessed to have you and your family in our lives. It is impossible to recount all our fond memories throughout the over sixty years of you always referring to our family as "Next door".
One time as you drove in the back yard with your truck you took the basket ball and said: "this is my game" and amazed all of us as it went right through the hoop that I had just installed on my garage.
