Frances Villanueva Obituary
She was born on Aug. 5, 1922, in New London, to the late Arthur and Elizabeth (Daniels) Bump.
Frances is survived by her husband, Amador Villanueva of San Diego; her children, Alan P. Murallo and wife, Mary, of Mystic, Thomas A. Murallo and wife, Susan, of Waterford, Dolores Namin of Quaker Hill, Gloria Mascardo of New London, Exequiel V. Murallo Jr. and wife, Paula, of Bozrah, Raymond A. Murallo and wife, Beverly, of East Lyme, Ronaldo G. Murallo and wife, Eleanor, of Quaker Hill, Ricardo A. Murallo of Groton, Randy W. Murallo and wife, Alice, of Quaker Hill, Robert D. Murallo of San Diego; 21 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Frances was predeceased by a son, Ronald L. Murallo; two grandchildren, Victoria Namin and Rudy Namin; and four brothers and seven sisters.
Frances began working in retail sales at the New London Submarine Base Exchange. When she moved to San Diego, she worked for Kmart until her retirement in 1987.
Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.
