George Eno Obituary

NORWICH – George A. Eno, 65, of Norwich, died on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011 at the William W. Backus Hospital. On January 16, 1946 he was born in Norwich, Connecticut the son of the late John and Susan (Smith) Eno. George was well known in the Greeneville section of Norwich having worked for many years for Alix Cohn at his antique shop and later for Alfred Cohn at New England Glass Company. He was especially talented when it came to installing replacement windshields for automobiles. He was a kind and gentle person who was adored by everyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed. A service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Woyasz & Son Funeral Home, 141 Central Ave., Norwich. A calling hour will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at a later date.

George will be sadly missed by many. I remember many weekends of George coming to visit with our family when our children were small. He was always great with our kids. Rest in peace George, tell Eddie, Judy & Mom Hello for us!!
