George Jankovich Obituary
George loved God. He took nothing or nobody for granted. Family, gardening, and birds were his passions, though he loved all nature and was a friend to all he met. He is, and will forever be sorely missed.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. May 17, 2017, at Elm Grove Cemetary, 197 Greenmanville Ave., Mystic. A gathering will be held at Danielle Medrano's home following the service: 673 Shennecossett Rd, Groton.

To the family of George Jankovich,
My condolences for the loss of a very quiet and sweet gentleman. That is how I remember George at Stonington High School, Class of 66.
Know that he is at peace with those he loved. May you find solace in all that he loved here on Earth and in the prayers reaching out to him and his family..

To the family of George Jankovich, I knew George from High School and I remember him as a very kind hearted person and classmate. It is sad to see those of our youth pass and though I have not seen George for 50 years this news saddens me and at the same time brings the face of a really nice guy back to mind. Rest Peacefully George.
