Dear Friends,
I grew up with George in East New London. We attended Winthrop Grammar School next to the Old Town Mill. As kids, we fashioned sticks to make play guns and play all day in the College Arboretum chasing bad cowboys and Indians.Fished for Pumpkinseeds at the pond on hot summer days. We met later in life and played a few rounds of golf and reminisced about old timed.
Used to kid him about that little lisp. We graduated together in the New London High School Class of 1960. Still have my year book with his nice compliment to me.
Will never forget my buddy "Tex!"
Yours Truly,
Bill Bucko

To Ginny, DeDe, Laurie, Cheryl and their families - I'm so very sorry for your loss. George was such a kind and loving man and father. I have extremely fond memories of hanging with the Teixeira clan throughout the years and George always calling me "KB". May all your treasured family memories carry you all through this most difficult time. Wishing your family peace and healing.

Goodbye George.
I'll never forget how you and Ginny took Gilbert and I to the dances at the Gardner Lake firehouse on Saturday nights. That was the beginning of my teenage years. You had the coolest car I had ever seen at that time.
You will be missed.
