Glen Neigel Obituary

Jarratt, Va. - Glen A. Neigel of Jarratt, Va., born Nov. 7, 1959, passed away Nov. 2, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife Sharon Lee Neigel; his sister Brenda Neigel Carter; sister Susan Neigel Kelly, husband John; and brother Tommy Neigel, wife Amy; his loving son Michael Sean Neigel, wife Ann Elizabeth Neigel; grandchildren: Caelen Alexander, Logan James and Sean Donovan. Special mention to his life-long friend Pat Boyle. He was predeceased by his father George Neigel; and mother Rebecca (Pollard) Neigel; brother Larry; and sister Donna.

He served in the U.S. Army for eight years as a combat medic. He was proud of his two honorable discharges.

He was employed in the maintenance field and his last employment was Georgia Pacific before retirement.

He loved the Red Sox, UConn Huskies and Dallas Cowboys.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Connecticut. Please have a beer in his memory today.

Glen and his family were a big part of my childhood in New London. We always hung out all the kids in the neighborhood at the nearby park or the basketball hoops. Happy Heavenly Birthday Glen. Love and prayers to your family.
