My condolences to Greg's family. He had such a sense of balance as to what was important in life and what was not. He will be missed by all that knew him. I knew Greg best in his job as a State Marshal. I had complete confidence in him, he did things by the book, but, in a compassionate manner. Whatever I would ask him to do, I knew he would do it correctly and that my clients would be well served. When he would come to my office to pick up papers he often would stay a half an hour or so just chatting with us we shared many a good natured laugh. Greg knew his time was limited he accepted his fate, but, never let it bring him down or those around him. He was an inspiration. Greg Benoit

Sullivan Family,
Greg was a dear friend and made those around him happy with that great laugh of his. Our friendship started at St. Marys school and I'm so sad to hear of his passing. He was a good and decent man, a good friend with compassion and a big heart. May you find comfort in your faith and may my dear friends memory be eternal. + Amen.

I met Sully through my husband Joshua. Sully was one of his best friends and thus I was fortunate to develop a unique relationship myself with Greg. Other people are mentioning Sully's humor, and yes he was funny-- but what I found as remarkable was his gallantry and warm-heartedness. Sully was a bright light on any day and radiated goodness.

I did not get to spend enough time with Greg and am pained that we will not be able to remedy that-- at least not in the here and now. I miss you already, Sully!

My deepest sympathy to Linda and her family and all Greg's friends. Chris, we are here for you.

He will be missed. Greg always had a good word to say. As a Sheriff he was always looking to help, never heavy handed. That he had no ego impressed me much. While donning his oxygen cannula, he continued to perform his Marshal duties. To the family, sincere condolences. Know that Greg was deeply respected and admired for his good nature.
