Henry Doescher Obituary
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., the son of the late Henry and Viola Koch Doescher May 24, 1939. He was predeceased by a twin sister, Viola Dranchak.
Henry enlisted in the United States Navy and was stationed on the USS Fulton. During this period, he met Joyce Tomaski, whom he married June 11, 1960. Upon completion of enlistment, Henry started work for Southern New England Telephone Company retiring after 33 years.
In addition to his wife, Joyce, he is survived by two sons, Mark (Amanda) of Bradford, R.I. and Michael (Sandy) of New London; grandchildren: Mark (Kim), Joshua (Jess), Ethan (Tina) and Tyler; and 9 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive relatives and friends at a later time in spring 2026.
