My deepest condolences to Jackie’s friends and family. She was honestly one of a kind—I had the pleasure of taking care of her for months. Some days were difficult but the good days were full of laughter, singing to her favorite songs and even dancing during physical therapy. She was one of the strongest women I’ve ever met and through it all she always had a positive attitude and tried her hardest while doing it with a smile, grin and occasional eye rolling. She loved to listen to me talk about my kids, what I did know my days off and she would write on her board and tell me about her cooking and family dinners she would host. She could tell when I was having a hard day and knew what to do to get me to crack a smile. She was always concerned about everyone elsetheir well being; if they were taking breaks and taking care of themselves throughout the day. She was truly selfless.

I’ll miss her smile, eye rolling, gospel music..but most of all I’ll miss sitting with her and looking over the city on sunny days while we sat and took a break during her walks.

She was one of a kind..truly. I will miss her so much and she will always hold a special place in my heart. I’m glad she is at peace and I know she will continue to watch over her loved one’s. ❤

Jackie was one of the happiest and kindest people I’ve ever met. I enjoyed working with her in the NICU and loved taking care of of her sweet baby girl, Jazmin. Jackie always thought of others..she brought her daughter back to visit many times. She wanted all of us to share in her baby girl’s life. Thinking of you Jazmin❤
