James Darling Obituary
James had a love for the ocean including: fishing, crabbing, boating, and of course eating seafood. He had an eye for design and took great pride in executing his creativity. James was a builder, roofer, and remodeler by trade. His sense of humor was appreciated by many. He was always able to contribute a joke or insight to bring a smile to those around.
He is survived by his partner Stella Bergeson; his daughter Lauren DeFrancesco; son-in-law Mark; and his pride and joy that are his three beautiful grandchildren, Gianna, Milani, and Gemma; and Stella's son her son Troy, and her grandchildren Tessa and Teagan. He is also survived by his brother Bob Darling; sister Susan Phelan; and sister Elizabeth Grouton. He is predeceased in death by his parents, Jane and Edmund Darling and former wife Debra Lord.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. May 13, 2025, at Langley's Restaurant, 28 Lamphere Road, Waterford. There are no calling hours.

Jim was a very nice guy. He was always very friendly treated everybody good.
